Rev. Shafiq Yaqoob- Pakistan Ambassador
Rev. Shafiq Yaqoob was born in a Christian family. His home town is Faisalabad, Punjab Pakistan. He was born on 4th of April 1982. He has three brothers and two sisters. Rev. Shafiq Yaqoob got married with a gifted wife Evangelist Farah Naz. God has blessed them with a beautiful daughter and a handsome young son Joshua. They both are well educated and well trained. They are filled with God-given vision and mission to spread the Gospel in Pakistan. They have passion to serve in the kingdom of God and to win souls for the greater glory of God.
God has blessed them with ability to run several Sunday Schools at different facilities under the Garden of Prayer Life Ministry. They are leaders of the Church facilities at several places owned by Garden of Prayer Life Minsitry.
God has given them passion to serve the people of Brick Kiln Slaves by praying with them, sharing the Word of God with them, helping their children to get education, supporting the poor families with food, groceries and rations.
Rev. Shafiq Yaqoob gained educational degrees from various universities such as:
- B.A (Bachelor of Arts) Degree from Punjab University.
- B.ed (Bachelor of Education) Degree from Karachi University.
- International Graduate Certificate from Notre Dame Australian University.
- Dip. TEFL (Teaching of English as foreign language) from Allama Iqbal University Faisalabad.
- M.A. English (Master of English) from Govt. College University Faisalabad.
- He has also done M. Dive (Master of Divinity) Religious
God guided them to work with Church of God in Pakistan. In 2017, God inspired them and bestowed a vision and mission to teach and preach the gospel to the un-reached in Pakistan and all over the world, and to teach children, the youth and elderly through Sunday Schools and adult literacy programs and education. With this vision and mission, they started a ministry which goes by the name, “GARDEN OF PRAYER LIFE MINISTRY” Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan.
Their Vision:
Their vision includes the desire to Know, Grow, and Make Christ Known. They want to have a closer, personal relationship with their Creator and to share that with others who do not yet know Him. They are a community of young people committed to growing together in Jesus Christ, offering every non-believer the opportunity to consider the claims and promises of Christ, and sharing God's love with the world. Equipping members to become leaders within the Kingdom of God so they may train others to do the same (Titus 2:1-8) through leadership seminars.
