The Vinedresser's Gospel John 15:1-8

"The Vinedresser's Gospel."
John 15:(1-8)

Verse 7-8.
"If ye abide in me,and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples."

It's amazing and powerful the promise which the Lord appropriates to the utterance of the mere mouth of a human being that is a mere piece of clay, how an Immortal Sovereign God would respond to a mere mortal being.

But I believe that this is only set apart for those whom have undergone the cutting/bruising and the painful process of pruning.

Let's remember that Christ Himself told us that we ought to carry our own crosses. This actually the most immediate thing that also happens at baptism, after the impartation of the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ is led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit where He fasted for forty days and nights and was also tested of His validity.

The wilderness, the fasting and prayers is a Spiritual Representation of the world that we live in, what we deny ourselves as Christians and how we only get power and insight through prayer which connects us to The Father.

In the Scripture of John 15 the writer represents Jesus Christ as the Vine, the Father as the Husbandmen/Vinedresser and us as the branches.

For the branch which bears no fruit He cuts away; remember the three guys with the talents, the one who just hid his talent and brought it back to the master with no interest was rebuked and called unworthy. God takes away growth where there is no management.

For the branches that bear fruit, He prunes that they may bear more fruit. For us as Christians, the moment we receive Jesus Christ there is a process that we must undergo for us to be prepared and also for The Lord to find us credible of His blessings. Abraham waited for many decades for Isaac ,the Promise of God and when The Lord saw that he wavered not in his faith in spite of the evidence He credited him as Righteous.

The process is painful and at times makes no sense at all especially now and in this age that we live in, there is no greater test like 'The Test of Time' but my beloved brothers and sisters The Lord God of our Father of Faith Abraham has changed not and His Promises are still tight sealed for you and your household. No matter what you are going through, His Grace is sufficient and it shall take you through.

And after you have endured and held on to the garment of hope in Christ Jesus Ye Shall bear much fruit as his disciples. Let's arise and seek his righteousness, trust in His Word and do the Will of God in Christ Jesus via the prompting of the Holy Spirit and if we do these things we shall shine in the The Throne of His Grace by His Glory.
